November 22, 2016: Thanksgiving Helper

There are 11 additions today, all additions to the Thanksgiving gallery, from the November 20-26, 1999 issue of TV Guide Magaine and from The Blade's November 24, 1999 Peach Section and Novemeber 25, 1999 Section A. The first one is from TV Guide, a Monday, 11/22/99 ad, on two pages for the CBS shows, The King of Queens, "Roamin' Holiday, Ladies Man, "Thanks for Nothing," Everybody Loves Raymond, "No Thanks," and Becker, "Pain in the Aspirin." There's also a larger version, here. Next is a Wednesday, 11/24/99 Buckeye CableSystem ad from The Blade's Peach Section, for The Thanksgiving That Almost Wasn't, on Cartoon Network. The next two are full-page ads from Section A of The Blade's Thursday, 11/25/99 edition. The first ad is for Marshall Field's 'afterthanksgivingsale." The second ad is for Jacobson's "After Thanksgiving Clearance." The rest of today's ads and "pages" are from TV Guide, starting with a Thursday, 11/25/99 page with some 7-8:05 am listings and a "holiday close-up" for Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on NBC, followed by NBC's ad for that parade, with pictures of hosts Katie Couric, Matt Lauer, and Al Roker. There's also another TV Guide page, with some 1-3pm listings and a close-up for the two NFL games that day (Bears vs. Lions on Fox and Dolphins vs. Cowboys on CBS). Following that are four more Thursday, 11/25/99 "close-ups," for Shania Twain: Come On Over, on CBS, Friends, "The One Where Ross Got High," Frasier, "The Apparent Trap." and ER, "Great Expectations." The next two are NBC ads. The first one is a two-page ad for Friends, "The One Where Ross Got High," Just Shoot Me, "First Date," Frasier, "The Apparent Trap," and Will and Grace, "Homo for the Holidays," on "The Biggest Thursday Ever." The second one is a full-page ad for the ER Thanksgiving episode, "Great Expectations." There's a larger version, here. There's also a Friday, 11/26/99 full-page NBC ad for the two-hour Providence Thanksgiving episode, "Thank You Providence."
