I added 22 more ads today from August and September, 1974, plus 4 more Random Pages gallery additions, from July, August and September, 1974 Peach Sections of The Blade, all by Norman Dresser. The first one is a Wednesday, 7/31/74 story, "TU And Ch. 11 Renew Basketball Contract," followed by five Friday, 8/23/74 stories, "BG Football To Be On 9 Radio Stations," "Ch. 24 Will Carry Jerry Lewis Telethon," "Staff Changes Listed By Toledo Station," about Buddy Carr and Bill Nordstrom, "Ch. 50 To Carry 'Dinah Shore Show'" and "WTUU To Broadcast Ali-Foreman Special." There's also a Tuesday, 8/27/74 story, "Cablevision Special To Examine Land Use" and three Wednesday, 9/4/74 stories, "Toledo Area Pledges $105,969 For MD," "Commercials Costly For Top-Rank Shows" and "Toledo Entertainer To Tape TV Series," about Dee Wolf. There are two ads in the Channel 13 gallery, a Wednesday, 9/4/74 ad for the IBM sponsored NBC special, Clarence Darrow (Henry Fonda), and a 9/9/73 ad for two Monday night NBC shows, the series premiere of Born Free (Diana Muldaur, Gary Collins) and "Joe Kidd" on Monday Night at the Movies (Clint Eastwood). There are five ads in the Channel 24 gallery, all for The New Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon, featuring drawings by Al Hirschfeld. There are two WGTE-TV 30 ads, in the PBS gallery, a Monday, 8/5/74 ad for Straight Up (Jim Seals and Dash Crofts) and a Tuesday, 8/6/74 ad for Zoo "Lesser Cats and Great Apes," from the Toledo Zoo. There are two more in the Radio Station Ads gallery, a Tuesday, 8/27/74 ad for Ohio Payoff on WLQR-FM and a Sunday, 9/8/74 ad for Notre Dame Football on WMHE-FM.
