I added seventeen more ads today, all from September, 1979. There are six additions to the Channel 11 gallery including a Saturday, 9/15/79 ad for the Blue Cross-Blue Shield sponsored special, So Easy, So Safe and four more for movies, one, a Tuesday, 9/18/79 ad for the Elvis Presley movie, “Girls, Girls, Girls” on The Big Show. There's a Friday, 9/21/79 ad for “Battle for the Planet of the Apes” on Scream Gems, and two for Abbott and Costello Theater, a Saturday, 9/22/79 ad for “Abbott and Costello Meet the Mummy” and a Saturday, 9/29/79 ad for “Ride 'em Cowboy.” And there's another Saturday, 9/22/79 ad for Match Game and The Joker's Wild and CBS prime time shows, Working Stiffs, “Looking for Mr. Goodwrench,” The Bad News Bears, “Buttermaker Rides Again” and the movie, “Lucky Lady.” The Blade's listings indicated that the series premiere of The Baxters and the children's version of The Joker's Wild called Joker, Joker, Joker aired between 7 and 8 PM. There are three additions to the Channel 13 gallery. There's a Tuesday, 9/18/79 ad for Happy Days Again and Tic Tac Dough and NBC prime time shows, The Misadventures of Sheriff Lobo, “The Day the Shark Ate Lobo” (Claude Akins) and the movie, “Semi-Tough.” Next is a Saturday, 9/22/79 ad for NBC prime-time shows, ChiPs, “Roller Disco” and A Man Called Sloane, “Night of the Wizard” (Robert Conrad). There's also a Thursday, 9/27/79 ad for Happy Days Again and Tic Tac Dough and NBC prime time shows, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, “Planet of the Slave Girls” (Gil Gerard) and Quincy, “Dead Last” (Jack Klugman). There are also three additions to the Channel 24 gallery including a Tuesday, 9/18/79 ad for a series of reports by Holly Wood on 24 Eyewitness News and The Lazarus Syndrome, “Pamela Quinn.” Next is a Saturday, 9/22/79 ad for the game show, 3's a Crowd and Sha Na Na and ABC prime time shows, Detective School, “Nick is Smitten” and Hart to Hart “Hit Jennifer Hart” (Robert Wagner, Stefanie Powers). And there's a Thursday, 9/27/79 ad for 24 Eyewitness News (Jim Tichy), Benson, “The President's Double” and 20/20 (Hugh Downs). There are two additions to the PBS gallery for shows on channel 30, a Monday, 9/20/79 ad for Live From the Met, “Otello” which was simulcast on FM 91.3, and a Saturday, 9/29/79 ad for In Print which featured Toledo author William Bottorff. There are also two additions to the Radio Station Ads gallery, both for WGTE-FM 91.3, a Friday, 9/28/79 ad for Ask the President and a Saturday, 9/29/79 ad for their coverage of The 70th Annual NAACP Freedom Fund Dinner at the Commodore Perry. Today's last addition is in the Other Vintage ads gallery, a Saturday, 9/15/79 ad with Ed Asner promoting newspapers and his show, Lou Grant.
