January 4, 2016: Big Plans

There are ten more ads today, from the January 2-8, 1999 issue of TV Guide Magazine, and from January 2, 3 & 6, 1999 editions of The Blade, plus one Random Pages gallery addition a Monday, 1/4/98 Blade Peach Section story by Chris Borrelli, "TV Has Big Plans for Millennium" and also includes an item on WSPD-AM's Scott Sloan. There's one addition to the NBC gallery, a Wednesday, 1/6/99 full-page ad in TV Guide for Lateline, "Pearce on Conan," starring Al Franken and guest starring Conan O'Brien and Andy Richter. There are four additions, all from The Blade, to the Buckeye CableSystem gallery starting with a Saturday, 1/2/98 Peach Section ad for Josie and the Pussycats on Cartoon Network. Next is a Sunday, 1/3/98 full-page TV Week ad for The Disney Channel, "U Turn" on The Movie Channel, and La Femme Nikita, "Looking for Michael" on USA. There's also a Monday, 1/4/98 Peach Section ad for Ed, Edd 'n Eddy on Cartoon Network, followed by a Wednesday, 1/6/98 full-page ad for The Disney Channel (We Think it's a Perfect Fit!). There's one addition, from The Blade, to the ToledoVision 5 gallery, too, a Saturday, 1/2/98 ad for MAC and Big Ten Basketball games. All three games listed in the ad were Big Ten games, Michigan at Penn State, Minnesota at Purdue, and Ohio State at Wisconsin. The rest of today's ads, all from TV Guide, are additions to the Vintage Cable Ads gallery starting with two Sunday, 1/3/99 ads for shows on USA Network, a full-page ad for Pacific Blue (Darlene Vogel) and Silk Stalkings (Janet Gunn), and an ad on two pages for the season premiere of La Femme Nikita, "Looking for Michael" (Peta Wilson, Roy Dupuis). Next is a Monday, 1/4/99 ad for Famous Families on Fox Family Channel (Shirley Jones, David Cassidy, Donny and Marie Osmond). And today's last ad is a Tuesday, 1/5/98 full-page ad for Keith Olbermann's premiere on Fox Sports News on Fox Sports Net.
