September 15, 2015: Live Coverage on ESPN2

There are ten more ads today, from the July 4-10, 1998 issue of TV Guide Magazine, and from July 4, 6, 7, 8 & 10, 1998 editions of The Blade, plus two Random Pages gallery additions from the Monday, 7/6/98 Blade, a News Section 2 story by Betsy Hiel, "Actor Farr's Name is Given to One of His Former Haunts" and a three Peach Section items by Chris Borelli, all about local TV stations. There's one addition to the Channel 48 gallery, a Wednesday, 7/8/98 Blade Peach Section ad for UPN's Star Trek: Voyager. There's also one addition to the FOX gallery, a Saturday, 7/4/98 ad for "An Independence Day Battle" between The Baltimore Orioles and The New York Yankees. Next is an addition to the PBS gallery, another 7/4/98 ad, on two pages for A Capitol Fourth, hosted by Tony Danza (on 27 & 30) and "The Statue of Liberty," a film by Ken Burns (on 30 only). It also includes a "music close-up" for that special and some 6-7 pm listings. This "close-up" was on a different page, but I moved it to this page, in place of the one for A&E's Pops Goes the Fourth (at 7:30 pm). There's one addition to the Buckeye CableSystem gallery, too, a Friday, 7/10/98 half-page ad for The Jamie Farr Kroger Classic on ESPN2. There are two additions to the ToledoVision 5 gallery, both Saturday 7/4/98 ads, a Weather Page half-page ad (Free Up the Summer Time Blues...Blues Brothers Night...2 Free Mud Hens Tickets...ToledoVision 5), and a Peach Section ad for Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular. There are three additions, all TV Guide ads for shows on A&E, to the Vintage Cable Ads gallery, a Monday, 7/6/98 ad for Investigative Reports, "The Ira Einhorn Story" (Bill Kurtis), another 7/6/98 ad for Sherlock Holmes week (another "July to Die For" ad), and a Tuesday, 7/7/98 ad for Inside Story, "EMS: Street Saviors" (Bill Kurtis, once again). Today's last ad is an addition to the Other Vintage ads gallery, a Tuesday, 7/7/98 full-page ad for Home Depot (The faces of Home Depot are the faces of our community...We're proud to be your neighbor.). More July 1998 ads, from the July 11-17, 1998 issue of TV Guide Magazine, and from the online archives of The Toledo Blade, are on the way...
