June 9, 2015: It's Happening Again

There are twelve more ads today, from the October 18-24, 1997 issue of TV Guide Magazine, and from October 21-24, 1997 issues of The Blade including two full-page color ads. There's one addition to the Channel 36 gallery, a Saturday, 10/18/97 full-page TV Guide ad for the pilot episode of The X-Files, which was beginning its syndication run. It was also seen on WJBK-TV 2 in Detroit. There are three additions to the NBC gallery (all from TV Guide Magazine) starting with a full-page color ad for Dateline NBC with Jane Pauley and Stone Phillips (Friday Night, Take The Sex War Test). Next is a Friday, 10/24/97 ad for part two of a three part episode of Homicide: Life on the Street called "Blood Ties" (James Earl Jones, Andre Braugher). There's also another full-page color ad (on the back cover) for a "Must-See Weekend!" of NBC Sports programming which included The McDonald's Championship (Chicago Bulls vs the World's Best from Paris), a USC at Notre Dame football game, games 1 and 2 of the 1997 World Series (Cleveland lost the series to Florida, 4 games to 3), and an NFL doubleheader. There's one addition to the PBS gallery, a Wednesday, 10/22/97 ad (on two pages) for The G.I. Bill: The Law That Changed America and Divided Highways. There are five additions (all from The Blade) to the Buckeye CableSystem gallery starting with a Tuesday, 10/21/97 ad for "Hope" on TNT (Goldie Hawn), followed by a Wednesday, 10/22/97 ad for Crash Test on TLC. Next is a Thursday, 10/23/97 ad for "School Ties" on USA, followed by a Friday, 10/24/87 ad for Chamber of Commerce Candidate's Forum on the Community Channel, and another 10/24/97 ad, for "Sunset Park" on Showtime (Rhea Perlman). There's one addition to the Vintage Cable Ads gallery, a Monday, 10/20/97 full-page TV Guide ad and close-up description for the documentary, Where Have You Gone, Joe Dimaggio? on HBO.
