The first eleven ads are additions to the Christmas and New Year's Ads gallery starting with a full-page color ad from TV Guide for Mannheim Steamroller's The Christmas Carol, on NBC. Next are two ads from The Blade, a Saturday, 12/19/98 half-page ad (Happy Holidays from TV5), followed by a Monday, 12/21/98 Peach Section ad for Pinocchio's Christmas on Fox Family Channel. There's also a 12/21/98 TV Guide ad for Melrose Place, "The Usual Santas" on Fox, followed by two Tuesday, 12/22/98 ads, a Peach Section ad for The Bear Who Slept Through Christmas, again on Fox Family Channel, followed by a CBS ad in TV Guide Magazine, for "I'll Be Home for Christmas" (Ann Jillian, Robert Hays). Next are two more ads from The Blade, a Thursday, 12/24/98 full-page ad (Season's Greetings. The owners and employees of The Blade wish you and yours happy Holidays and a joyous New Year), followed by a Friday, 12/25/98 half-page ad (Happy Holidays...to the people who bring you The Blade...). The next three ads are from TV Guide, another full-page color ad, for HGTV's coverage of The Tournament of Roses Parade, followed by two more 12/31/98 (New Year's Eve) ads, a Fox ad for Billboard's Musical New Year's Eve Live!, followed by an ABC ad for New Year's Rockin' Eve '99 (D.L. Hughley, Elise Neal, Dick Clark), which also includes the "music close-up" description. There are also three additions today to the Football Bowl Game Ads gallery starting with a Thursday, 12/31/98 TV Guide page which includes a half-page "sports close-up" (Bowling on New Year's...Liberty Bowl, Sun Bowl, Peach Bowl, Independence Bowl). There are some 3:00-4:00 pm listings, too. Next is a Friday, 1/1/98 full-page "sports close-up" (Kicking Off the New Year...Outback Bowl, Cotton Bowl, Gator Bowl, Citrus Bowl, Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl).
