Dec. 13, 2015: Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snowden!

There are twelve more additions to the Christmas and New Year's Ads gallery today, all but one from the December 5-11, 1998 issue of TV Guide Magazine, the other one from the Thursday, 12/10/98 edition of The Blade. The first seven are all TV Guide ads, starting with a full-page color ad for HGTV (We'll help you turn ho-hum into ho-ho-ho). Next are two more (of five) Fox Family Channel "25 Days of Christmas" ads, a Saturday, 12/5/98 ad for Pinocchio's Christmas and the Fred Astaire movie, "The Man in the Santa Claus Suit," followed by a Sunday, 12/6/98 ad for the animated feature, "All Dogs Christmas Carol." There are two more Sunday, 12/6/98 ads, too, an ABC ad for "Winnie the Pooh and Christmas Too" and "Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Princess" on The Wonderful World of Disney, followed by a CBS ad for "The Christmas Wish" with Neil Patrick Harris and Debbie Reynolds. The next two are Fox Family Channel "25 Days of Christmas" ads, a Monday, 12/7/98 ad for "Merry Christmas Mr. Bean," followed by a Wednesday, 12/9/98 ad for Little Drummer Boy II. Today's only ad from The Blade is next, a Thursday, 12/10/98 ad for Buckeye CableSystem from The Blade's "Holiday Gift Guide" (It's as easy as can be! Give a full year of news and entertainment for the holidays...). The rest are all from TV Guide starting with a Thursday, 12/10/98 CBS ad for the animated special, The Story of Santa Claus, followed by the last of today's "25 Days of Christmas" ads for Fox Family Channel, a Friday, 12/11/98 ad for "Babes in Toyland" with Keanu Reeves. And there are two more 12/11/98 ads, for CBS specials. The first one is an ad on two pages for Frosty the Snowman, Frosty Returns, and Snowden on Ice (Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let it Snowden!), with a larger version here, followed by today's last ad, for Kathie Lee: Christmas Every Day. More holiday ads, from the December 12-18, 1998 issue of TV Guide Magazine, and from the December 15, 1998 edition of The Blade, from the online archives of The Toledo Blade, are on the way...
