I added seventeen more ads today, all from February 1989, plus three more Random Pages gallery additions from the pages of The Blade, The first two are Tom Ensign Peach Section articles. There's a Friday 2/3/89 story, “Columbo's Beloved, Battered Peugeot a Findlay Find” and also includes other items, about Channels 13 and 27, and radio station WVOI-AM. Next is a Wednesday, 2/15/87 story, “Downey's Mouth Brings House Down,” about Morton Downey, Jr's visit to Toledo. It includes a Kerry Waghorn sketch of him. There's also a Monday, 2/20/89 story by Homer Brickey, “Tiny Radio Station Goes For Pure Sound of DAT,” in the Business pages. It was a follow-up to a 1/12/89 story. There's one addition to the Channel 11 gallery, a Wednesday, 2/22/89 ad for The Grammy Awards on CBS and Toledo 11 News Nightwatch (Jeff Heitz, Marilou Johanek). There are three more Toledo 11 News Nightwatch ads in the News/Special Reports Ads gallery. The first one is a Monday, 2/6/89 ad for a Mike O'Connell report on the impact of the 1988 drought, “The Winter After.” Next is a Monday, 2/13/89 ad for an Amy Marsalis report on autism, “Bittersweet Lives,” followed by a Friday, 2/24/89 ad for a Linda Joyce interview of Michael Lee Lockhart, “Confessions of a Killer.” There are two additions to the Channel 24 gallery. The first one is a Saturday, 2/4/89 ad for Bruiser Bedlam Wrestling, sponsored by Miller Brewing. The other one is a Monday, 2/20/89 “Something's Happening Tonight!”ad, for ABC World News Tonight, A Current Affair, The All-New Family Feud, ABC prime-time shows, MacGyver, “The Battle of Tommy Giordano” and the series premiere of Gideon Oliver, “Sleep Well, Professor Oliver,” on The Monday Mystery Movie, and 24 News Late Edition. There's one addition to the Channel 36 gallery, a Sunday, 2/19/89 ad for the Sunday night Fox Shows, Married...With Children, “Eatin' Out,” It's Garry Shandling's Show, “The Natural,” The Tracey Ullman Show, and Duet, “Read Between the Lines.” There's also one addition to the Buckeye CableSystem gallery, a Wednesday, 2/2/89 ad for The Making of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, on HBO. There are five additions to the Radio Station Ads gallery, including two “One reason to join FM 91 today” ads for WGTE-FM 91.3 / WGLE-FM 90.7, a Friday, 2/3/89 ad and a Thursday, 2/9/89 ad. There are two more for WTOD-AM 1560, a Monday, 2/20/89 ad (“#1...Real Country for over 20 years”) and a Wednesday, 2/22/89 ad for their “Real Country Cash” contest. The other one is a Thursday, 2/23/89 ad for the 11th annual WIOT-FM 104 Cabin Fever Sale at Toledo Masonic Great Hall. There are also four additions to the Other Vintage ads gallery. The first one is a Friday, 2/24/89 ad for Tony Packo's Cafe, featuring the Cakewalkin' Jass Band, followed by a Sunday, 2/26/89 Ohio Bell ad, announcing the start of 9-1-1 service in Lucas County. Next is a Sunday, 2/26/89 ad for an appearance by David Copperfield at the Masonic Auditorium, sponsored by Kroger, WTOL-TV and WWWM-FM. There's also a Monday, 2/27/89 full-page ad for Food Town Expo at the Lucas County Recreation Cemter, featuring soap stars, Melanie Smith, Peter Boynton, Terrell Anthony, and Thom Bierdz.
