I added fourteen more ads today, all from June 1985 plus two more Random Pages gallery additions from Peach Sections of The Blade. There's a Friday, 5/24/85 story by Bruce Vernyi, “New TV Station Aiming For September Debut,” about Channel 36. There's also a Tuesday, 5/28/85 story by Kenneth R. Clark, “The Wall-Size TV Screen Right Around The Corner.” There's one addition to the Channel 13 News gallery, a Friday, 5/3/85 ad for 13 News with Jerry Anderson and Jeannine Lauber and NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw. There's also one addition to the Channel 24 gallery, a Tuesday, 5/21/85 ad for a prime-time showing of The ABC Afterschool Special, “One Too Many.” There are four additions to the Channel 24 News gallery, all 24 News Tonight “More Local News” ads. The first one is a Wednesday, 5/8/85 ad, featuring Jane Aldrich, followed by a Friday, 5/10/85 ad, featuring Jim Tichy. There's also a Wednesday, 5/15/85 ad, featuring Matt Lundy, and a Thursday, 5/16/85 ad, featuring Dave Carlson. There are also four additions to the PBS gallery, all for programs on channel 30. First is a Thursday, 5/2/85 ad for Jean Shepherd's America, “Mosquitoes and Moon Pies.” There are two Wednesday, 5/8/85 ads, one for the premiere of Spaceflight, “Thunder in the Skies, Normandy to Berlin: A War to Remember and an encore presentation of Air Force One: The Planes and the Presidents, which the other ad is also for. Also included is a Peach Section story by Arthur Unger, “'Spaceflight' Totally True, Completely Fascinating” along with the Wednesday TV Highlights listings for Spaceflight and Normandy to Berlin. There's also a Thursday, 5/16/85 ad for Heart of the Dragon, “Remembering” and a Thursday, 5/23/85 ad for two movies, “Flamingo Road” (Joan Crawford) and “Summer Stock” (Judy Garland). The last three ads today are all additions to the Radio Station Ads gallery, two for WIOT-FM 104.7's Saturday and Sunday morning programming, a Tuesday, 5/28/85 ad for The Roots of Rock'n Roll, and a Wednesday, 5/29/85 ad for The Jazz Brunch. There's also another 5/29/85 ad, for WSPD's morning team, Jack Mitchell and Mary Beth Zolik. June 1985 ads from the online archives of The Toledo Blade are on the way...
