I added 21 more ads today, all from November, 1985, plus three more Random Pages gallery additions from Peach Sections of The Blade. There are three Wednesday, 11/6/85 items by Tom Ensign about Toledo's three network affiliates. Next is a Tuesday, 11/29/85 “Around Toledo Television” column by Tom Ensign with the headline, “Channel 13 Disappointed By FCC Divestiture Ruling,” a follow-up to a 9/25/85 story. Also included are the top ten and bottom five prime-time shows. There's also a Saturday, 11/30/85 story by Seymour Rothman, “Basketball Camera Needs Good Seat In Stands.” There's one addition to the Channel 11 gallery, a Monday, 11/18/85 ad (Start the Week in High!). It's for a Toledo 11 News report, “Athletes & Academics” and two CBS prime-time shows, Scarecrow and Mrs. King, “J. Edgar's Ghost” and the world-premiere mini-series, Kane & Abel (Peter Strauss, Sam Neill, Veronica Hamel). There's also one addition to the Channel 11 News gallery, a Saturday, 11/30/85 ad for the CBS News Sunday Morning report on the St. Vincent Hospital Life Flight program. There's one more Toledo 11 News ad included in the four additions to the News/Special Reports Ads gallery, a Tuesday, 11/5/85 ad for their election coverage (Jeff Heitz, Jill Olmsted). There are also three 13 News ads, including another 11/5/85 ad for their “V.I.P. Election Coverage” (Jerry Anderson, Jeannine Lauber, Tom Brokaw). Next is a Tuesday, 11/12/85 ad for a Jerry Anderson report, “Risky Business” followed by a Monday, 11/18/85 ad for a Jeannine Lauber report. “AIDS: Epidemic of Fear.” There are two additions to the Channel 36 gallery, a Friday, 11/1/85 ad for the Cinema 36 Prime Time Movie, “The Legend of Lizzie Borden” (Elizabeth Montgomery). There's also a Saturday, 11/23.85 ad for Star Trek. The ad includes a list of area cable channels that channel 36 was carried on. There's one addition to the ABC gallery, a Sunday, 11/24/85 Toledo Magazine ad for ABC News, “You Should Know Better” (David Brinkley, Peter Jennings, Ted Koppel), similar to a 9/15/85 ad. There's also one addition to the PBS gallery, a Tuesday, 11/9/85 ad for War: The Knife of Deterrence, hosted by Edwin Newman, on channel 30. There are six additions to the Buckeye CableSystem gallery including three more for USA Network, a Friday, 11/1/85 ad for Wrestling TNT, a Tuesday, 11/5/85 ad for USA Movie at Noon, and a Wednesday, 11/6/85 ad for Candid Camera. There are two more for UT Channel 10B, a Monday, 11/4/85 ad for UT Digest, an inside look at the university, and a Wednesday, 11/27/85 ad for a Toledo vs. Bradley basketball game. There's also a Tuesday, 11/19/85 ad for “72 hours of free entertainment,” a free preview weekend of Showtime, The Movie Channel, and The Disney Channel programming. There are three additions to the Radio Station Ads gallery, two for WSPD-AM 1370. There's a Friday, 11/1/85 ad for Money Talk and a Wednesday, 11/6/85 ad for their “$100-Dollar Contest.” There's also a Friday, 11/29/85 ad with Texaco's 1985-86 Metropolitan Opera Radio Broadcast Schedule. WGTE-FM continued to air the series, The last two ads today are additions to the Other Vintage ads gallery, a Wednesday, 11/6/85 full-page ad for Food Town, where you could buy the new Crest Pump, and a Monday, 11/25/85 ad for Pebbles cereal.
