I added 21 more ads today, all from April 1985, plus six more Random Pages gallery additions from The Blade. The first one is a Friday, 4/5/85 Peach Section story by Dave Hackenberg, “Archbold's WHFD Agrees To broadcast Mud Hens,” a follow-up to this 3/21/85 story. Next is a Sunday, 4/7/85 Entertainment Section story from the Dallas Times Herald, “Bugs Bunny Rescued By Audience Demand.” The other four are all from the Peach Section, starting with a Wednesday, 4/10/85 story, “St. Eligius's Loudspeaker Is Home To 'In' Jokes.” There are two Thursday, 4/11/85 stories, “Northwest Ohio Oil Wells Subject of Ch. 57 Shows” and “Ch. 30 Buy-In Starts Next Week.” There's also a Friday, 4/12/85 AP story, “WTBS Signs Broadcast Pact For College Football,” and a Saturday, 4/20/85 story by Seymour Rothman, “New Boys On The Block Are Really On The Block,” about Tigers announcers Jim Northrup and Bill Freehan (PASS) and George Kell and Al Kaline (WDIV). There are no ads today for channels 11, 13 and 24, but there are eleven for channel 30, in the PBS gallery. There's a Tuesday, 4/9/85 ad for Frontline, “Crisis in Central America” and ten more for the 17th Annual Great Channel 30 Buy-In, as WGTE was celebrating their 25th anniversary. The first one is a Tuesday, 4/16/85 ad. Next is a Thursday, 4/18/85 ad (LaChoy), followed by a Friday, 4/19/85 ad (O-I). There's also a Saturday, 4/20/85 ad (The CableSystem / Dana) and a Sunday, 4/21/85 ad (The Video Connection / O-C Fiberglas). Next is a Tuesday, 4/23/85 ad (Sheller-Globe), a Wednesday, 4/24/85 ad (Toledo Trust), a Thursday, 4/25/85 ad (Lauerer-Markin-Gibbs) and a Friday, 4/26/85 ad (LOF). The last one is a Saturday, 4/27/85 ad (AP / Champion). There's one addition to the CableSystem Channel 5 gallery, a Sunday, 4/7/85 ad for 125 Tigers games on The CableSystem's Channel 5A, both WDIV and PASS telecasts. The ad also mentions that The CableSsytem is now carrying VH-1 (instead of WDIV-TV 4) and The Weather Channel, on a part-time basis. Next is a Tuesday, 4/23/85 ad (Dan Rather Reports), followed by a Tuesday, 4/30/85 ad (Great Composers). There's also a Friday, 4/26/85 ad for WOHO-AM 1470 (Take the Radio Ear Test) and a Sunday, 4/28/85 ad for WIOT-FM 104.7 (Free Vacation For Two).
