I added eighteen more ads today from September 1984 plus two more Random Pages gallery additions. There's a Saturday, 9/8/84 story by Seymour Rothman, “CableSystem Hits Jackpot For Local Football Fans,” about their deal with Sports Time. There's also a Sunday, 9/9/84 picture of Jon Provost and Lassie, which would be soon seen on Nickeodeon. There are two additions to the Channel 13 gallery, a Monday, 9/17/84 ad for late afternoon shows, Hart to Hart, Taxi and M*A*S*H and 13 News at 6 PM (Jeannine Lauber), and a Wedneday, 9/19/84 ad for early evening shows, Entertainment Tonight and The People's Court and 13 News Update at 11 PM (Jerry Anderson). There are five additions to the PBS gallery, four for channel 30 and one for channel 57. There are three for TV 30 Harvest Festival movies including a Saturday, 9/8/84 ad for four John Wayne movies, “Pittsburg,” “The Barbarian and the Geisha,” “Hellfighters” and “Rooster Cogburn.” Next is a Saturday, 9/15/84 ad for “The Great Waldo Pepper,” “Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo,” “Battle Hymn” and “Soldier of Fortune,” and there's a Sunday, 9/16/84 ad for three Jimmy Stewart movies, “Shenandoah,” “Harvey,” and “Destry Rides Again.” There are also four Monday 9/17/84-Thursday, 9/20/84 “Because We Care” ads (in one image) for the four-night series, Child Sexual Abuse: What Your Children Should Know. The channel 57 ad is a Saturday, 9/8/84 ad for the broadcast of Giacomo Puccini's Turandot and Tosca, hosted by Luciano Pavarotti. There are five additions to the Buckeye CableSystem gallery, including a Thursday, 9/6/84 ad for the Disney Channel and a Saturday, 9/8/84 ad for two Big Ten football games, Oregon State vs. Ohio State and Missour vs. Illinois. These games were on Sports Time but were shown on channel 10A, pre-empting regular ESPN programming, because there was a free preview of the Disney Channel on 5A. Next are two ads cocerning cable television theft, a Sunday, 9/16/84 ad and a Thursday, 9/20/84 ad. There's also a Saturday, 9/29/84 ad for Sports Time Cable Network programming. There's also one addition to the CableSystem Channel 5 gallery, a Sunday, 9/16/84 ad for “The Most Dangerous Game” on The Movie Show with Paul W. Smith.
