I added fifteen more ads today from March 1983 plus four more Random Pages gallery additions from Peach Sections of The Blade. There's a Tuesday, 3/1/83 story by Tom Gearhart, “Channel 24 Will Reshuffle Its Evening News Time” and also includes other items, about channel 30's The Tatum Legacy, and Mike O'Mara leaving WTVG for Cleveland's WJKW. Next are two Wednesday, 3/2/83 stories, both about the M*A*S*H series finale, “M*A*S*H Ends in Hail of Bullets, Flood Of Tears,” by Tom Gearhart, and an AP story, “Television May Have New Viewing Champ.” There's also a Saturday, 3/5/83 story by Seymour Rothman, “Cablevision Industry Facing Black Tuesday,” and a Thursday, 3/24/83 story by Blade staff writer Stan Lee, “Oak Harbor Fans Ante Up For Basketball Telecasts.” There's one addition to the Channel 11 gallery, a Thursday, 3/10/83 ad for the third annual Toledo Eleven Kids Health Fair at Franklin Park Mall. There's also one addition to the Channel 13 gallery, a Saturday, 3/12/83 ad for “13 Strong Double Play Sunday,” which included a personal appearance by Skip Stephenson of NBC's Real People at the 13 Strong vs. Mr. Softball game in Oregon, and a Goaldiggers game with Kalamazoo. There's one addition to the Channel 24 gallery as well, a Thursday, 3/3/83 ad for 24 News Tonight, returning to the 5:30 time slot, The BJ-Lobo Show at 6:00, ABC World News Tonight at 7:00, The People's Court at 7:30 and 24 News Tonight, at 11:00. There's also an addition to the Channel 24 News gallery, a Friday, 3/11/83 ad for 24 News Tonight at 5:30 (Susan Hayes, Rick Benjamin). There are seven additions to the PBS gallery for programs on channel 30. The first one is a Wednesday, 3/2/83 ad for the premiere of the locally produced special, The Tatum Legacy (Art Tatum). The other six are all for Festival 83 programming. The first one is a Saturday, 3/5/83 ad (Westerns and Country) for Country Music Jubliee and the movies, “The Streets of Laredo,” “The Virginian,” and “The Gunfighter.” Next is a Thursday, 3/10/83 ad for Mystery!, “The Girl on the Train” and The Great Whodunit!, followed by a Friday, 3/11/83 ad for a special, simulcast on FM91, La Boheme: Pavarotti in Philadelphia. There's also a Saturday, 3/12/83 ad for Reel Choices. Viewers could choose between the movies, “Von Ryan's Express,” “How Green Was My Valley” and “Let's Make Love.” And there's a Monday, 3/14/83 ad for the movie, “Oklahoma!” (Shirley Jones, Gordon MacRae) and a Wednesday, 3/16/83 ad for Return of the Great Whales and the movie, “Demetrius and the Gladiators.” There's one addition to the Buckeye CableSystem gallery, a Friday, 3/25/83 ad for The Nashville Network (Jerry Reed) which would be on The CableSystem starting the following Wednesday. Today's last three additions are in the Other Vintage ads gallery, including a Tuesday, 3/1/83 ad for Sylvania Savings Bank and a Wednesday, 3/2/83 ad for TV Guide Magazine. There's also one more related to the last episode of M*A*S*H, another 3/2/83 ad for Holiday Inn Southwest, where apparently the M*A*S*H celebration was continuing.
