I added sixteen more ads today from February, 1982, plus one more Random Pages gallery addition, two Friday, 2/5/82 Blade Peach Section stories, “Welk Putting Away Baton,” by George Maksian, and “Cablenews Gives Storm Information.” There are two additions to the Channel 11 gallery, both for the Million Dollar 4:00 Movie. The Monday 2/1/82 ad was for the movies, “Where Time Began,” “The Terminal Man,” “The Time Machine” and “The Day the Earth Caught Fire,” and the Monday, 2/8/82 ad was for the movies, “Jeremiah Johnson,” “What's Up Doc?,” “Gator,” “The Last of Shiela” and “The Train Robbers.” There's one more in the Channel 11 News gallery, a Friday, 2/12/82 ad for co-anchors Jeff Heitz and Bob Lawrence. There's also one addition to the Channel 13 gallery, a Saturday, 2/13/82 ad for 13 Strong's Sunday Night Movie, “Chinatown” (Jack Nicholson). Ther are five additions to the News/Special Reports Ads gallery, two for channel 11, two for channel 13 and one for channel 24. The two for Toledo Eleven News reports are a Wednesday, 2/10/82 ad for a Rebecca Hanshaw report. “The Toxic Shock,” and a Monday, 2/15/82 ad for a Bob Lawrence report on “Divorce, Toledo Style.” There are two 13 News “Surviving the 80's” ads, a Monday, 2/1/82 ad for a Tom Waniewski series of reports on “Drunken Killers,” and a Monday, 2/8/82 ad for a Mike O'Mara series of reports. There's also a Wednesday, 2/10/82 ad for a 24 News report by Regina Benjamin, “Murder for Hire.” There are two additions to the PBS gallery, both for American Playhouse on channel 30, a Tuesday, 2/9/82 ad for “Any Friend of Nicholas Nickleby is a Friend of Mine” (Fred Gwynne) and a Tuesday, 2/16/82 ad for “Come Along With Me” (Estelle Parsons). The first ad has Gwynne misspelled “Gwenn.” There are three additions to the Buckeye CableSystem gallery, two for The Blade's Cablenews, a Wednesday, 2/10/82 ad and a Saturday, 2/13/82 ad. There's also another 2/13/82 ad for a UT vs. Ohio University basketball game, shown on tape delay, on UT Cablevision channel 10-B. There's one addition to the Radio Station Ads gallery, a Thursday, 2/11/82 ad for WIOT-FM 104's Rock Bottom Bazaar Rec Center sale.
