I added eighteen more ads today, from July and August 1981 plus four more Random Pages gallery additions from Peach Sections of The Blade. There's a Wednesday, 7/15/81 AP story, “Tribe's 1948 World Series Repeated In Broadcasts” and a Wednesday, 7/22/81 story, “Monks Directed, Copyrighted 'The Flight of Apollo 11' Film.” The other two are by Norman Dresser, including three Thursday, 7/23/81 items, about Ed Byrnes leaving WSPD-AM, Crosby Gardens entertainment from Nickelodeon, and WSPD-AM carrying the Browns. There's also a Tuesday, 8/4/81 story, “CableSystem Previews New UT Service.” There are thirteen additions to the Channel 11 gallery including a Wednesday, 7/8/81 ad for PM Magazine, asking the question, “Whatever Happened to Mr. T?” (Jack Kesling). There are five ads for movies, a Monday 7/13/81 ad for “Both Sides of the Law Week” on The Big Show, with the movies, “Mrs. Sundance,” “Chato's Land,” “Walking Tall,” “Desperate Mission” and “Marshal of Madrid” and a Monday, 7/20/81 ad for “Life is a Breeze Week” on The Big Show, featuring the movies, “Breezy,” “The Private War of Major Benson,” “One, Two, Three,” “Don't Just Stand There” and “Let's Dance.” Next is a Saturday, 7/25/81 ad for “Duel at Diablo” on In the Balcony at the Bijou. There's also a Monday, 7/27/81 ad for “Summer in the City Week” on The Big Show, with “The Young Savages,” “West Side Story,” “The Marcus-Nelson Murders” and “Beau James” and a Monday, 8/3/81 ad for “Western Frontiers” on The Big Show, with the movies, “The Tin Star,” “Pillars of the Sky,” “Five Card Stud,” “Destry” and “Rancho Deluxe.” Next is a Thursday, 8/6/81 ad for the syndicated special, The World of Liberace. The rest are all for appearnces by Toledo Eleven personalities at area county fairs. There's a Tuesday, 7/28/81 ad (Fair Time! Lucas County Fair) and three more “Shoot for the Stars at the Lucas County Fair” ads, including a Thursday, 7/30/81 ad for appearances by Joe Ashton, Jim Proctor, Tom Marshall, Martha Sharan, Bob Lawrence and Terry Thill. Next is a Friday, 7/31/81 ad for appearances by Joe Ashton, Jan Skunda, Charlie Umpenhour, Jeff Heitz, Orris Tabner and Trudy Gallant. There's also a Saturday, 8/1/81 ad for appearances by Jeff Heitz, Orris Tabner, Jack Mitchell, Rebecca Hanshaw, Jill Olmstead, Dan Buckley, Dan Cummins, Charlie Umpenhour, Tom Marshall, Martha Sharan, Dick Berry and Debbie Pettibone.
