You'll find sixteen additional ads today, from January and February 1990, plus five more Random Pages gallery additions from The Blade, the first four by Tom Ensign, in the Peach Section. There's a 1/5/90 story, “Area PBS Stations to Start Descriptive Service for Blind,” and includes another item on Toledo radio sportscaster, Don King. Next is a Wednesday, 1/31/90 story, “CableSystem Expands Access to Impulse Shows,” and also includes some items about Channel 30. There's also a Tuesday, 2/6/90 story, “TV5 Shifts Gears From Sitcoms to Serious Look at Crack,” followed by a Monday, 2/12/90 story, “Fox Seeks Network Status as Well a Change in Rules.” The fifth one is a Wednesday, 2/14/90 Business Section story, “Union Urges Public Boycott of WTOL-TV,” by Blade Labor Writer Jack Baessler. There is one addition to the Channel 24 News gallery, a Wednesday, 1/24/90 ad for 24 NewsWatch (Greg Carson, Dancie Moore). There's also one addition to the PBS gallery, a Thursday, 1/18/90 ad for Mystery!, “Poirot” (David Suchet), on Channel 30. There are three additions to the Channel 36 gallery, including a Wednesday, 1/3/90 ad for The Toledo 36 Prime Movie, starting an hour earlier, at 8 PM. The movie that night was “Easy Money” with Rodney Dangerfield. There are three additions to the ToledoVision 5 gallery, including another one for college basketball, a Wednesday, 1/24/90 ad for two live BGSU vs UT games, with the ladies playing their game first, followed by the men, and a Notre Dame vs Wichita State game, on tape. The second one is a Friday, 2/23/90 ad for the 12th Annual FM 104 Cabin Fever Sale, at the Toledo Masonic Great Hall. The remaining three ads are all additions to the Other Vintage ads gallery. The first one is a Sunday, 1/7/90 two-page ad for Apple Computers, free to schools, from Food Town. The other two are full-page ads, a Sunday, 1/21/90 ad for Society Bank, and a Friday, 2/2/90 ad for “The Most Beautiful Eyes in Ohio Contest,” sponsored by Kroger, WTVG-TV 13, WRQN-FM 93,5 and American Airlines.
