I added twelve more ads today, from May and June 1980, plus four more Random Pages gallery additions from the pages of The Blade. The first one is a Wednesday,5/10/89 story, “TV Producer Name to City Information Job,” about WTVG-TV's Bill Harris. The other three are all from the Peach Section. There's a Thursday, 5/11/89 story by Tom Ensign, “Ohio Lottery Game Coming to Portside,” about the Cash Explosion show. There are other items as well, about Amy Marsalis and award winners at WTOL-TV. Next is a Friday, 5/12/89 item, “American Bandstand to Play at Savage Hall” and also includes an item on an appearance by Willie Tyler and Lester. The last one is a Saturday, 6/24/89 “Electronic Pressbox” story by Seymour Rothman, “ W48AP Attracting Viewers Through Local Sports Events.” There's one addition to the Channel 24 gallery, a Thursday, 5/11/89 Blade ad for The Editors (John Robinson Block, Tom Walton). There are three additions to the Channel 36 gallery, including a Saturday, 5/6/89 ad for two Fox shows, The Reporters and Cops. Next is a Wednesday, 5/17/89 ad for The Pat Sajak Show, the CBS late-night show that Channel 11 didn't carry. There's also a Sunday, 5/21/89 TV Tab ad for the conclusion of the two-part 21 Jump Street episode, “Loc'd Out” (Johnny Depp). There's one addition to the PBS gallery, a Saturday, 5/6/89 ad for the Channel 30 movie, “Lilies of the Field.” There are two additions to the Radio Station Ads gallery, a Monday, 5/8/89 ad for WSPD-AM's live broadcasts from the Disney MGM Studios Theme Park, and a Friday, 6/23/89 ad for WIOT-FM 104.7's Becky Shock. The remaining five are all additions to the Other Vintage ads gallery. The first one is a Sunday, 5/7/89 full-page ad for the new Magnum XL200 roller coaster at Cedar Point. Next is a Friday, 6/2/89 ad for Tony Packo's Cafe, followed by a Wednesday, 6/7/89 ad for an appearance by the band, Hip Pocket, at Manos Greek Restaurant. There's also a Wednesday, 6/14/89 ad for “The Main Event,” featuring Leon Spinks vs. The Great Wojo, at the Seagate Centre, sponsored by Metropolitan Distributing Company, followed by a Friday, 6/23/89 ad for a live appearance by Michael Damian of The Young and the Restless, at Hill's.
