October 24, 2013: Fly With 5!

I added twelve more ads today, from October and November 1989, plus two more Random Pages gallery additions, from Peach Sections of The Blade, both by Tom Ensign. There's a Wednesday, 10/25/89 item about Crystal Award winners at channels 11 and 13, followed by a Wednesday, 11/1/89 story, “Hope Woodside to Join Ch. 13 as Weekend Anchor” which also includes other television items. There are three additions to the Channel 24 gallery, including a Monday, 10/23/89 ad for two afternoon “More Than Just Talk” shows, The Joan Rivers Show and Geraldo (Geraldo Rivera). Next is a Tuesday, 10/24/89 ad for A Current Affair (Ka-Chung), followed by a Wednesday, 11/1/89 ad for Family Feud, ABC prime-time shows, Growing Pains, “Coughing Boy,” Head of the Class, “The Bright Stuff” (part one), Doogie Howser, M.D., “Blood and Remembrance,” Anything But Love, “Just the Facts, Ma'am” and The Barbara Walters Special with guests Ted Danson, Kathleen Turner and Sarah Ferguson, and also for 24 NewsWatch. There's also one addition to the Channel 24 News gallery, a Friday, 11/4/89 ad for their coverage of “The 89 Vote” on 24 NewsWatch. There's one addition to the Channel 36 gallery as well, a Friday, 11/3/89 ad for Detroit Pistons Basketball. The ad includes a lsit of games to be carried on Channel 36. The remaining seven ads are all “Fly With 5” additions to the ToledoVision 5 gallery, including five for movies on The Big Show. First is a Monday, 10/23/89 ad for “The Missles of October,” followed by a Wednesday, 10/25/89 ad for “The Stepford Wives.” Next is a Thursday, 10/26/89 ad for “Final Countdown” and a Friday, 10/27/89 ad for “Hopscotch.” There's also a Wednesday, 11/1/89 ad for “All In a Night's Work” (Dean Martin, Shirley MacLaine). The other two are for Saturday college football games. First is a 10/28/89 ad for a MAC game, Eastern Michigan at Central Michigan, and a PAC-10 game, Stanford at USC.
