I added 14 more ads today, all from November, 1980 plus two more Random Pages gallery additions from Peach Sections of The Blade. There's a Friday, 11/7/80 story, “Ch. 24 Makes Signal Change” and a Thursday, 11/13/80 item by Norman Dresser about Detorit's WRIF-FM signing a $1 million, five-year contract with George Baier and Jim Johnson. There are four additions to the Channel 11 gallery, all for movies. There's one for The Big Show, a Monday, 11/3/80 ad for four Academy Award winners, “Hello Dolly,” “The African Queen,” “The French Connection” and in two parts, “Ben Hur.” The other three are for Saturday late-night movies on In the Balcony at the Bijou, an 11/1/80 ad for “The Train” (Burt Lancaster), an 11/8/80 ad for “Walking Tall” and an 11/15/80 ad for “Midnight Cowboy” (Dustin Hoffman, Jon Voight). There are also two additions to the Channel 11 News gallery, a Tuesday, 11/4/80 ad for their election coverage with Bob Lawrence, Jeff Heitz, and Harry Kessler, and a Monday, 11/10/80 ad for Jeff Heitz with the headline, “Some News Lives in the Shadows.” There are two additions to the Channel 13 gallery, for The 13 Sunday Night Movie and 13 Nightly News on Monday, a Saturday, 11/8/80 ad for “The Lives of Jenny Dolan” and a Brenda Hines series of reports on farming, and a Saturday, 11/15/80 ad for “Rosemary's Baby” and a Mike O'Mara report on hazardous waste. There's also one addition to the Channel 13 News gallery, a Thursday, 11/13/80 ad for the accuracy of their election night predictions by Stan Odesky. There's one more in the News/Special Reports Ads gallery, a Monday, 11/3/80 ad for a Jerry Anderson series of reports about investing on a budget. There's one addition to the Buckeye CableSystem gallery, a Thursday, 11/11/80 ad for financial news on CNN. Today's last three ads are additions to the Other Vintage ads gallery, a Friday, 11/7/80 ad for another Soupy Sales appearance at Friar Tuck's, a Thursday, 11/13/80 ad for Carlo Sommer's Crusade of Love, and a Friday, 11/14/80 ad for The Last Bank and Crust Co.
