There are two Saturday, 1/3/81 stories, “FCC Finds Vast Expansion of Cable Industry In 1979” and “About People, Events In Broadcasting World,” featuring some items about channel 24. There are also two Thursday, 1/15/81 items, about PBS carrying The Paper Chase and about channel 31 starting up, in Ann Arbor.
There are two additions to the Channel 11 gallery, both for Saturday night movies on In the Balcony at the Bijou, a 1/10/81 ad for “Juggernaut” and a 1/17/81 ad for “Slaughterhouse Five.” There are also two additions to the Channel 13 gallery, a Saturday, 1/10/81 ad for Rocket Basketball, with Ball State playing Toledo, and another 1/10/81 ad for the Liberty Mutual sponsored syndicated special, Mr. Griffin and Me. There are three additions to the PBS gallery, all for channel 30. There's a Wednesday, 1/7/81 ad for the National Geographic Special, “Etosha: Place of Dry Water,” and two for the PBS premeire of The Paper Chase, a Sunday, 1/11/81 TV Tab ad and a Thursday, 1/15/81 ad (John Houseman)
The last three ads today, are all additions to the Other Vintage ads gallery, a Thursday, 1/1/81 full-page ad for Hudson's 100th anniversary, a Saturday, 1/10/81 ad for Tavel's Furniture Store going-out-of-business sale, and a Tuesday, 1/20/81 full-page ad for Lane's Drug Stores, honoring new President, Ronald Reagan.
