I added 16 more ads today, from August and September, 1977, plus one Random Pages gallery addition, a Tuesday, 8/22/77 story by Norman Dresser in The Blade's Peach Section, announcing that Channel 100 changed its name to Home Premiere Cinema. There's one addition to the Channel 11 gallery, a Monday, 9/12/77 ad for five Elvis Presley movies on The Big Show (at 3:30 PM), “Kid Gallahad,” “G.I. Blues,” “Roustabout,” “King Creole” and “Flaming Star.” There are two additions to the Channel 13 gallery, a Wednesday, 8/16/77 ad for the syndicated special, Yellow Trail From Texas, sponsored by Massey-Ferguson dealers, and a 9/12/77 ad for their Monday night line-up, The Gong Show (Chuck Barris), The $128,000 Question (Alex Trebek), and NBC prime time shows, Little House on the Prairie, “Castoffs” and NBC World Premiere Movie, “Billy: Portrait of a Street Kid” (LeVar Burton). There's one more in the Channel 13 News gallery, a Tuesday, 8/2/77 ad (Strong...Even Stronger). There are two additions to the Channel 24 gallery, a Friday, 8/26/77 ad (Still the One!...) and a Friday, 9/20/77 ad for The Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon. There are six channel 30 additions to the PBS gallery, five of them with the “Have a Summer Love Affair with Channel 30” heading. There's a Friday, 8/19/77 ad for The 1977 Drum Corps International Championship and two ads for Masterpiece Theatre, a Saturday, 8/20/77 ad for “Five Red Herrings” and a Saturday, 8/27/77 ad for “Madame Bovary.” Next is a Wednesday, 8/24/77 ad for All Star Swing (Count Bassie) and Great Performances, “The Taming of the Shrew” and a Wednesday, 8/26/77 ad for Evening at Pops (Itzak Perlman) and I Regret Nothing. There' also a Saturday, 9/10/77 ad for their taped coverage of a Miami (FL) at Ohio State football game. There's one addition to the Buckeye CableSystem gallery, a Monday, 8/1/77 ad for the movie, “Family Plot” on Home Premiere Cinema (the new name for Channel 100). There are two additions to the Radio Station Ads gallery, both for WGTE-FM 91.3, a Friday, 8/5/77 ad (Dust off the old crystal set!) and a Saturday, 8/6/77 ad (We play favorites!). The last ad today is an addition to the Other Vintage ads gallery, a Monday, 8/16/77 ad for Lloyd Bros. Off Road Center in Waterville.
