I added 24 more ads today, all from October, 1976, most of them for Channel 30 and The CableSystem. There are three additions to the Channel 11 gallery, including a 10/2/76 ad for Saturday night shows Hee Haw (Roy Clark) and CBS prime-time shows, The Jeffersons, “Louise Gets Her Way” (Sherman Hemsley, Isabel Sanford), Doc “Come Scrub With Me” (Barnard Hughes), Mary Tyler Moore “Mary the Writer,” The Bob Newhart Show “Caged Fury” and The Carol Burnett Show. Next is a 10/3/76 ad for Sunday night CBS shows, 60 Minutes (Mike Wallace, Morley Safer, Dan Rather), The Sonny and Cher Show, Kojak, “A Summer Madness” (Telly Savalas) and Delvecchio, “Contract for Harry” (Judd Hirsch). There's also a Tuesday, 10/12/76 ad for a Walt Disney World / Eastern Airlines contest on The Brady Bunch. There's one addition to the Channel 13 News gallery, a Wednesday, 10/20/76 ad for their two "Instant Cameras.” There are eight additions to the PBS gallery, including one for WBGU-TV 57, a Saturday, 10/9/76 ad for a BGSU vs. Toledo football game, shown on a tape-delay on Sunday. The other seven are all for WGTE-TV 30, a Saturday, 10/2/76 ad for taped coverage of a UCLA vs. Ohio State football game and six “Fall's Best on PBS” ads. First is a 10/11/76 ad for Monday night shows, The Adams Chronicles, The Strauss Family and Alvin Ailey “Memories and Visions.” There's also a 10/12/76 ad for Tuesday night shows, The Strauss Family, Too Late Tomorrow and Terror I & II. Next is a Wednesday, 10/13/76 ad for again, The Strauss Family, Graham, a profile of Graham Hill, and Waltz of the Torreadors, followed by a 10/14/76 ad for Thursday night shows, The World at War, “Distant War,” The Strauss Family and The Life of Adolf Hitler. There's also a 10/15/76 ad for Friday night shows, Washington Week in Review, Wall Street Week, The Strauss Family and The Red Shoes, followed by a 10/16/76 ad for Saturday night shows, Rebop, Once Upon a Classic “The Prince and the Pauper,” A Tribute to Strauss, The Strauss Family, Picnic and taped coverage of a BGSU vs Kent State football game. There's one addition to the Buckeye CableSystem gallery, a Tuesday, 10/5/76 ad (“More views to choose”) and there are nine more additions to the Buckeye Channel 5 gallery, including a Saturday, 10/2/76 ad for taped coverage of a UCLA vs Ohio State football game, also seen on channel 30, and a Thursday, 10/7/76 ad for At Issue 76 “Lud vs. Carty.” There are five more for Sixth Grade Report, a Thursday, 10/7/76 ad (“Our news is kid stuff”), a Friday, 10/8/76 ad (“Our news is good news”), a Saturday, 10/9/76 ad (“Meet the news kid in town”), a Sunday, 10/10/76 TV Tab ad (“See Toledo kids reporting news”) and a Monday, 10/11/76 ad for the season premiere (“Mayor Kessler Meets Our Press”). There's also a Tuesday, 10/12/76 “Exclusively yours” ad and a Wednesday, 10/20/76 ad for Life Cycle “Such a Place.” Today's last two ads are both additions to the Radio Station Ads gallery, for WGTE-FM, a Friday, 10/9/76 ad and a Friday, 10/15/76 ad, both for Chicago Symphony concerts, conducted by Sir Georg Solti.
