I added 14 more ads today, all from January 1976, plus eight Random Pages gallery additions. There's a Friday, 1/2/76 AP story, “Network Retires NBC's Peacock” and a Friday, 1/9/76 story by Norman Dresser, “WLQR Broadcasting Entertainer Series.” Next is another one by Dresser, a Wednesday, 1/14/76 story, “Ch. 13 Drops Griffin, Donahue, 'Squares'” followed by a Wednesday, 1/22/76 story, “Ch. 11 To Carry Phil Donahue.” There's also a Saturday,1/24/76 “Electronic Press Box” story by Seymour Rothman, “TU-BG Telecasts Are Down To A Science Now,” and two Monday, 1/27/76 stories by Dresser, “Walters Talk Show Canceled By Ch. 11” and “Linda Jefferson Set On ABC Morning Show.” The last two are also by Norman Dresser, a Thursday, 1/29/76 story, “'Two WBGU-TV Shows Win Network Status,” about Star Trek—the TV Show That Wouldn't Die and The National Tractor Pull, and a Friday, 1/30/76 story, “'Laverne And Shirley' Rated Dismal Failure,” in which Mr. Dresser predicted the show would be gone in about eight weeks. There are four ads in the Channel 11 gallery, three of them for Wednesday night University of Toledo and Bowling Green State University basketball games. There's a 1/7/76 ad for a UT vs. Miami game, a 1/14/76 ad for a BG vs Kent State game, and a 1/21/76 ad for a BG vs UT game. There's also a Tuesday, 1/20/76 ad for the Popi series premiere episode, “Man's Best Amigo” (Hector Elizondo, Edith Diaz). There are two in the Channel 13 News gallery for their answer to channel 11's mini-cam, a Tuesday, 1/20/75 ad their microwave news unit, with the “Live Instant Camera for Live Instant News” and a Wednesday, 1/28/76 ad for Susan Short's live weather reports. There's one in the Channel 24 gallery, a Thursday, 1/8/76 ad for the Ohio Lottery's Million Dollar Drawing, and there are three Channel 30 ads in the PBS gallery. There's a Sunday, 1/4/76 ad for Nova, a Tuesday, 1/13/76 ad for The National Geographic Special “Search for the Great Apes” and a Thursday, 1/14/76 ad for Roundtable. There are two ads in the Buckeye CableSystem gallery, a Monday, 1/19/76 ad, and a Saturday, 1/31/76 ad for The Ghoul on Channel 50. The movie that night was “Godzilla.” There's one in the Radio Station Ads gallery, a Friday, 1/2/76 ad for “Night Life with the Stars” on WSPD-AM 1370, for Dialogue (Ron Tindall), Nightlife (Ken Collins), CBS Mystery Theater (E.G. Marshall) and all night music (Ed Burns). Today's last ad is in the Other Vintage ads gallery, a Thursday, 1/29/76 ad for Honeywell fire and smoke detectors at Gross Electric.
