I added 17 more ads today, from April and May, 1975, plus four more Random Pages gallery additions from Peach Sections of The Blade. There's a Wednesday, 4/30/75 AP story, “Michigan Hopes To Televise Weekly Lottery Drawing” and a Thursday, 5/1/75 story, “Ch. 11 Schedules Hockey Special,” about Dial the Diggers, with Toledo Goaldiggers coach Ted Garvin and moderated by Orris Tabner. Check below for an ad for the special. There's also a Monday, 5/5/75 story, “Harold Miller To Give Reviews” and three Thursday, 5/8/75 stories, “Buy-In Brings $115,792 To Ch. 30,” “PBS Science Show Wins Peabody Award,” about Nova, and “$100 Million Needed, Study By CPB Says.” There are two ads in the Channel 11 gallery, the first one, a Tuesday, 4/29/75 ad, in the form of a letter, for Family Affair, Wild Kingdom, Name That Tune, The Price is Right and Hollywood Squares. The other one is a Friday, 5/2/75 ad for the special mentioned above, Dial the Diggers. There are two more in the Channel 11 News gallery, a Friday, 4/25/75 ad and a Monday, 5/5/75 ad (Orris Tabner, Joe Ashton, Jeff Heitz). There's one in the Channel 13 gallery, a Tuesday, 4/29/75 ad for daytime talk shows, The Phil Donahue Show and The Merv Griffin Show. Guests included Ann-Margret, Rich Little, Dennis Weaver, Chad Everett, Efrem Zimbalist, Jr., Arte Johnson, George Kirby, Bobby Riggs, Andy Williams, The Lennon Sisters, Glen Campbell, Hal Linden, Hans Conried, Whitman Mayo and Peter Bonerz. There's another one in the News/Special Reports Ads gallery, a Monday, 5/5/75 ad for a five-part series of Al Mannes reports about quitting smoking, on The Venner-Ward Report. There are four ads for Channel 30 in the PBS gallery, including two for The 7th Annual Channel 30 Buy-In, a Monday, 4/28/75 ad and a Thursday, 5/1/75 ad. Next is a Thursday, 5/8/75 ad which asks viewers to write their congressman to support funding for PBS, and a Wednesday, 5/14/75 ad for Feeling Good (Dick Cavett). There are two ads in the Buckeye Cablevision Channel 5 gallery for “CableSystem Specials,” a Thursday, 5/8/75 ad for 6th Grade Report, Children's Theatre, A Place Called Ardoyne, “McQ” and “The Pathfinder” and a Wednesday, 5/14/75 ad for “Jeremiah Johnson,” “Magnum Force,” “Man of LaMancha,” The Killy Style, Ecunews, Children's Theatre, “Traveling Saleswoman,” “Screamimg Mimi” and “Loves of Carmen.” These ads began the transistion of Buckeye Cablevision becoming known as The Cablesystem. There are two ads for WOHO-AM 1470, in the Radio Station Ads gallery, a Thursday, 5/1/75 “Hello WO-HO” ad and a Friday, 5/2/75 ad for a weekend of Beatles music from the “Good Guys.” Today's last two ads are in the Other Vintage ads gallery, a Thursday, 4/24/75 ad for Levi's California Bells at The County Seat, and a Wednesday, 5/14/75 ad for Sun-Glo Pop (Al Kaline).
