I added 19 more ads today, from October and November 1972, plus three more Random Pages gallery additions. There are two Friday, 10/27/72 stories by Norman Dresser, about WCWA-FM broadcasting a daily four-channel stereo program, Stereo 4 with Skitch Henderson, and channel 11 airing the 5,000th broadcast of the CBS children's show, Captain Kangaroo. There are two stories about the new Andy Douglas radio show on WOHO, the first one from Wednesday, 11/1/72 and the follow-up from Saturday, 11/4/72, and there's a Tuesday, 11/7/72 item by Norman Dresser, "Detroit's Channel 62 to Shift to Channel 20." There are eight ads in the Channel 11 gallery including a Saturday, 10/28/72 ad for Hee Haw (Roy Clark, Buck Owens) and a Monday, 11/6/72 ad for Hollywood Squares (Peter Marshall). The other six are all for movies on The Big Show. There's a Monday, 10/30/72 ad for "El Greco" (Mel Ferrer), a Tuesday, 10/31/72 ad for "Meet Me in St. Louis" (Judy Garland), and a Thursday, 11/2/72 ad for "Rapture." There's also a Monday, 11/6/72 ad for "Kisses for My President" (Polly Bergen, Fred MacMurray), a Tuesday, 11/7/72 ad for "Splendor in the Grass" (Natalie Wood, Warren Beatty), and a Thursday, 11/9/72 ad for "D-Day, the Sixth of June" (Dana Wynter, Robert Taylor). There's one more in the Channel 11 News gallery, a Tuesday, 11/7/72 ad for Election Night '72 coverage. There's one in the Channel 13 gallery, a Friday, 11/3/72 ad for The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, "Ten Years a Winner," and there are three more in the Channel 13 News gallery, all of them, "Don't Be on our News...Watch It!" ads for The Venner-Ward Report, a Tuesday 11/7/72 ad (motorcycle accident), a Wednesday, 11/8/72 ad (bicycle accident) and a Thursday, 11/9/72 ad (drug addict). I'll post some more of these on Monday. There are three ads in the Channel 24 gallery, the first one a 10/31/72 ad for 24's Tuesday Night Movie "The Love War," which they showed instead of ABC's movie, "The Bounty Man." There are two more for syndicated game shows, a Monday, 11/6/72 ad for I've Got a Secret (Steve Allen) and a Thursday, 11/9/72 ad for Let's Make a Deal (Monty Hall). There are two in the Radio Station ads gallery, a Friday, 11/3/72 WTTO ad for a Bread concert at the Sports Arena, and a Saturday, 11/4/72 ad for 30 Years of Music, 1941-1971 on WOHO-AM 1470. The last ad today, is in the Other Vintage ads gallery, a Wednesday, 11/1/72 ad for "It's Howdy Doody Time" with Buffalo Bob and Clarabell, at Franklin Park Mall.
