I added eighteen more ads today, all from October, 1979 plus two more Random Pages gallery additions from Peach Sections of The Blade, both by Norman Dresser. There's a Friday, 10/19/79 story, “NBC Films Toledo Footage For 'Today' Show Segment” and a Friday, 10/26/79 story about WGTE-FM's Fall Festival '79. There are five additions to the Channel 11 gallery including a Saturday, 10/20/79 ad for The Baxters episode, “Naomi Drops Out” (Derin Altay). The other four are all for movies on The Big Show, a Tuesday, 10/23/79 ad for “Flaming Star” (Elvis Presley), a Monday, 10/29/79 ad for “Fade In” (Burt Reynolds), a Tuesday, 10/30/79 ad for “The Sons of Katie Elder” (John Wayne) and a Wednesday, 10/31/79 ad for “The Green Berets” (John Wayne). There's one more in the Channel 11 News gallery, a Friday, 10/19/79 ad for Toledo Eleven News and The CBS Evening News with Walter Cronkite (Robert Pierpoint, Lee Thornton, Lesley Stahl). There are four additions to the News/Special Reports Ads gallery, three for 13 Nightly News, a Wednesday, 10/24/79 ad for a report on running, a Monday, 10/29/79 ad for a Jennifer Blome series of reports, “It's Your Decision” and a Wednesday, 10/31/79 ad, also for the Jennifer Blome story and for a Randy Price series of reports, “Toledo: Growing Up.” There's also a Monday, 10/22/79 ad for an Asa Smith Eyewitness Close Up report, “The Psychic Realm” on 24 Eyewitness News. There's also one addition to the Channel 24 gallery, a Saturday, 10/24/79 ad for The SALT Syndrome. There's one addition to the PBS gallery, a Monday, 10/22/79 ad for Over Easy on channel 30 (Colonel Harland Sanders). There are four additions to the Radio Station Ads gallery including a Tuesday, 10/23/79 ad for WMHE-FM 92.5, an “open letter” from VP/GM Ruth H. Ray. Next is a another 10/23/79 ad, one more for WOHO's Cash Call Contest (Rick Gilbert with Mary Ann Szymanski).
