I added fifteen more ads today, all from January, 1980 plus five more Random Pages gallery additions from Peach Sections of The Blade. There are two Friday, 1/4/80 items by Norman Dresser, one about Jim McKay anchoring ABC's coverage of the 1980 Winter Olympics, and the other about WGTE-FM's programming about the handicapped. Next is another one by Dresser, a Tuesday, 1/8/80 story, “Three Toledo TV Stations In Dead Heat For Viewers” and another 1/8/80 story, “Detroit Tigers Retain Broadcasting Personnel.” There's a Tuesday, 1/15/80 story, “Bob Kelly Leaves WCWA Radio Staff” and another one by Dresser, a Friday, 1/18/80 story, “Historical Drama Series To Make Ch. 11 Premiere” which also includes several other items. There's one addition to the Channel 11 gallery, a Wednesday, 1/23/80 ad for the premiere of the mini-series, Edward and Mrs. Simpson. There are also two additions to the Channel 11 News gallery for the return of Bob Lawrence, a Wednesday, 1/2/80 ad and a Saturday, 1/5/80 ad. There's one addition to the Channel 13 gallery, a Saturday, 1/19/80 ad for American Life Style (Hugh Downs, Andrew Carnegie). There's also one addition to the Channel 24 gallery, a Friday, 1/11/80 ad for Weather Report '80, sponsored by International Harvester. There are six additions to the PBS gallery, all for channel 30 and one, also for channel 57. There's a Friday, 1/4/80 ad for Legacy of Genius: The Story of Thomas A. Edison, narrated by Eric Sevareid, and a Tuesday, 1/8/80 ad for The National Geographic Special, “Dive to the Edge of Creation.” Next is a Wednesday, 1/9/80 ad for The Lathe of Heaven, followed by two ads for Free to Choose, a Friday, 1/11/80 ad for the premiere, “The Power of the Market” and a Friday, 1/18/80 ad for “The Tyranny of Control.”

And there's a Monday, 1/14/80 ad for Live From Lincoln Center, "Pavarotti and Mehta with the New York Philharmonic," which was simulcast on FM 91.3.

There's one addition to the Buckeye CableSystem gallery, a Monday, 1/7/80 ad for “Saturday Night Fever” (John Travolta) on Showtime.
