I added 22 more ads today, from January and February, 1979 plus four more Random Pages gallery additions from Peach Sections of The Blade. There are three Tuesday, 1/23/79 items by Norman Dresser, about Kathy Carroll and Mary Foster, two new managers at WGTE, Leon Bibb being named anchorman at WKYC-TV and The Laurel and Hardy Film Festival on channel 30, hosted by Bob Kelly. Next is a Thursday, 1/25/79 story, “Lou Hebert To Move From Ch. 24 To WCWA” and a Thursday, 2/8/79 story, “Ch. 24 News Staff Being Reassigned.” There's also another one by Norman Dresser, a Friday, 2/9/79 story, “'60 Minutes' To Carry Segment From BGSU.” There are two additions to the Channel 11 gallery, both for movies on The Big Show, a Tuesday, 2/6/79 ad for “Clambake” (Elvis Presley) and a Tuesday, 2/7/79 ad for “The Great Escape” (Steve McQueen). There are also two additions to the Channel 13 gallery, a Friday, 2/2/79 ad for Dance Fever and a Monday, 2/12/79 ad for Liar's Club and Tic Tac Dough. There are two more in the Channel 13 News gallery, for 13 Nightly News, a Monday, 1/22/79 ad for “Troubleshooter” Susan Shafer and a Monday, 2/5/79 ad. There are two more in the News/Special Reports Ads gallery, a Wednesday, 1/31/79 ad for Jennifer Blome's report, “The Candidates For Divorce” and a Tuesday, 2/6/79 ad for a Bill Harris series of reports on education. There are two additions to the Channel 24 gallery, a Thursday, 2/8/79 ad for Sanford and Son, The Muppet Show and on ABC, Mork and Mindy, “Mork Goes Erk” and a Friday, 2/9/79 ad for The Newlywed Game, Family Feud and the ABC special, Heroes of Rock 'n' Roll. There are three additions to the PBS gallery, all for channel 30. There's a Monday, 1/22/79 ad for Live From Lincoln Center (Luciano Pavarotti, Joan Sutherland) and a Monday, 2/5/79 ad for Bill Moyer's Journal, “Harvest,” WWII: G.I. Diary, “Okinawa: At the Emperor's Doorstep,” Victory at Sea, “Design for War,” Austin City Limits, “Norton Buffalo and the Stampede” and The Prisoner, “The Arrival.” There's also a Tuesday, 2/6/79 ad for Viewer's Choice. The ad gave the cost of different programs on channel 30 and asked viewers to choose which shows they preferred, staying within a $100,000 budget. There are also three additions to the Buckeye CableSystem gallery, a Saturday, 1/20/79 ad for “The World's Greatest Lover” on Showtime, a Friday, 1/26/79 ad for Pinups 2001, also on Showtime, and a Thursday, 2/1/79 ad for a special offer on Showtime, in Point Place and Sylvania. The last two ads today are additions to the Radio Station Ads gallery, a Thursday, 2/1/79 ad for The Spider's Web on WGTE-FM 91.3 and a Friday, 2/2/79 ad for Disco Party on WKLR-FM 99.9.
