January 4, 2012: Look What TV13's Got...

I added 21 more ads today from February and March 1970 plus one Random Pages gallery addition, a Friday, 3/6/70 Blade Peach Section item about channel 30 being off-the-air, due to technical problems. There are eight ads in the Channel 11 gallery including a Sunday, 3/1/70 ad for the CBS Peanuts special, "He's Your Dog, Charlie Brown" and a Monday, 3/2/70 ad for The Game Game. The other six ads are for movies. There's a Saturday, 2/28/70 ad for "Li'l Abner" on Cinema 11 (Peter Palmer. Leslie Parrish), a Sunday, 3/1/70 ad for "Pony Express" on The Sunday Show (Charlton Heston) and a Tuesday, 3/3/70 ad for "Half a Hero" on The Big Show (Red Skelton). Next is a Thursday 3/5/70 ad for "The African Queen" on The CBS Thursday Night Movies (Humphrey Bogart) and two Friday, 3/6/70 ads, the first one for "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence" on The Friday Night Movie (Lee Marvin, James Stewart, Vera Miles) and the second one for "Sunday in New York" on The Late Show (Jane Fonda). There's another WTOL-TV ad in the News/Special Reports Ads gallery, a Monday, 3/2/70 ad for Lamont McLoughlin's series of reports from Israel on News/90. There's also a WSPD-TV ad in that gallery, a Wednesday, 3/4/70 ad for a series of Frank Gilhooley reports on The Venner-Ward Report from the University of Toledo sports facilities. There are four more in the Channel 13 gallery including a Saturday, 2/28/70 ad for that afternoon's sports programs, a BGSU vs Ohio basketball game, coverage of the Doral Open and Shell's Wonderful World of Golf. Next is a Sunday, 3/1/70 ad for 13's weekday programs from 7AM-7PM and a Tuesday, 3/3/70 ad for Life with Linkletter (Art and Jack Linkletter), Perry Mason "The Case of the Unwwelcome Bride" (Raymond Burr) and What's My Line? (Wally Bruner). There's also a Thursday, 3/5/70 ad for "Flower Drum Song" on Movie Spectacular and there's one more in the Channel 13 News gallery, a Monday, 3/2/70 ad for The Noon Look (June Miller, Jim Rudes). There are three in the Channel 24 gallery including two Saturday, 2/28/70 ads for ABC shows, the first one for The Buckeye Open from Imperial Lanes, on The Pro Bowlers Tour and the second one for the 15th season of The Lawrence Welk Show. The last one is a Tuesday, 3/3/70 ad for "Mr. Jericho" on The ABC Movie of the Week (Marty Allen, Connie Stevens, Patrick Macnee).
