January 18, 2012: It's All Together

I added 19 more ads today from August and September 1970 plus three more Random Pages gallery additions, all from the Blade's Peach Section. The first one is a Wednesday, 9/2/70 story, "Housing Subject of Ch. 30 Show" (Voter's Voice). Next is a Friday, 9/4/70 story by Norman Dresser on the appearance by the Sesame Street cast at Toledo's Sports Arena. The pre-show emcee was Orris Tabner. The last one is a Friday, 9/11/70 Dresser report on channel 24 picking up The Mike Douglas Show after channel 13 dropped it for The Phil Donahue Show. There are five ads in the Channel 11 gallery including a 9/15/70 ad for the CBS Tuesday night shows, The Beverly Hillbillies "The Pollution Solution," Green Acres "The City Kids," Hee Haw, To Rome With Love "Here Comes Andy" and 60 Minutes. Next is a 9/16/70 ad for CBS Wednesday night shows, The Storefront Lawyers "A Man's Castle," Peanuts "It Was a Short Summer, Charlie Brown," Medical Center "Brink of Doom" and Hawaii Five-O "And a Time to Die" followed by a 9/17/70 ad for CBS Thursday night shows, Family Affair "The Good Neighbors," The Jim Nabors Hour with the Jackson Five and "The Brotherhood of the Bell" on The CBS Thursday Night Movies. There's also a Friday, 9/18/70 ad for The Interns "The Quality of Mercy" and The Headmaster "May I Turn On?" on CBS and "You Can't Run From It" on 11's Friday Night Movie. And finally, there's a 9/21/70 ad for CBS Monday night shows, Gunsmoke "The Noose," Here's Lucy "Lucy and the Skydiver," Mayberry R.F.D. "Sensitivity Training," The Doris Day Show "The Feminist" and The Carol Burnett Show. There are eight in the Channel 13 gallery including a Wednesday, 9/2/70 ad for a the Phil Donahue special, A Plea for Safety and a Friday, 9/4/70 ad for Bill Glass Crusade for Christ. There's a 9/15/70 ad for NBC Tuesday night shows, The Don Knotts Show, Julia "Ready, Aim, Fired" and "The Last Safari" on NBC Tuesday Night at the Movies and a 9/16/70 ad for NBC Wednesday night shows, The Men From Shilo "Colonel Mackenzie Versus the West," The Kraft Music Hall "Alan King Looks at Women's Rights and Wrongs" and the premiere of Four In One "McCloud: Man From Taos (or Who Says You Can't Make Friends in New York City." Next is a 9/18/90 ad for NBC Thursday night shows, The Flip Wilson Show series premiere, Ironside "A Killing Will Occur," Nancy "It's a Good Day for Meeting the President's Daughter" and The Dean Martin Show sixth season premiere, and a 9/19/90 ad for NBC Friday night shows, The High Chaparral "An Anger Greater Than Mine," The Name of the Game "So Long Baby and Amen" and Bracken's World "Love It or Leave It, Change It or Lose It." There's also a Saturday, 9/20/70 ad for The Best of What's My Line?, "Send Me No Flowers" on 13's Saturday Evening at the Movies and "P.J." on NBC Saturday Night at the Movies and two 9/21/70 ads, one for NBC Monday Night shows, The Red Skelton Show, Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In and "Boom!" on NBC Monday Night at the Movies and another one for three weekday afternoon shows, Gilligan's Island, Get Smart and Perry Mason.
