Today, I added 19 more ads from May 1960 plus, in the Random Pages gallery, a Wednesday, 5/10/61 front page Blade story by George Jenks on FCC chairman Newton N. Minow's speech which referred to television as "a vast wasteland." There are 15 ads in the Channel 11 gallery including a Sunday, 5/14/61 ad for the Peace Corps Dream or Reality Debate, a Tuesday, 5/16/61 ad for the 1961 Emmy Awards on NBC with Dick Powell and Joey Bishop, and a Friday, 5/19/61 ad for The Arthur Godfrey Show on CBS. Next is a Monday, 5/22/61 ad for "Tarzan and the Amazons" (Johnny Weissmuller) on The Big Show and Pete and Gladys "The Mannequin Story" a.k.a. "The Mankin Merry-Go-Round" on CBS (Cara Williams, Harry Morgan). There's also a Wednesday, 5/24/61 ad for Father Knows Best and Concentration and a Friday, 5/26/61 ad for The Twilight Zone "Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up" on CBS. There are nine more for movies on The Big Show, Hollywood Spectacular and Pajama Playhouse.
