I posted 19 more ads today from February and March, 1965 plus, in the Random Pages gallery, a short Toledo Blade story about ABC televising four events from the Lucas County Rec Center on Wide World of Sports. There are ten ads in the Channel 11 gallery including a Saturday, 2/27/65 ad for The Gift of Music, a special about the Toledo Orchestra's impact on young people. The other nine ads are for movies on Friday Night at the Movies, The Big Show, Night Owl Theater and The One O'Clock Movie. There's a Friday 2/26/65 ad for "The Enemy Below," a Wednesday, 3/3/65 ad for "The Horse Soldiers" (John Wayne) and a Thursday, 3/4/65 ad for three movies, "We Were Strangers," "Born Yesterday" (Judy Holliday, William Holden) and "Tarzan's Desert Mystery" (Johnny Weismuller). There's a Friday, 3/5/65 ad for "Alexander the Great" (Richard Burton) and "Marty," a Saturday, 3/6/65 ad for "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" (Marilyn Monroe) and a Sunday, 3/7/65 ad for "Malaya." There's another Sunday, 3/7/65 ad for a week of 'Battle Action' movies on The Big Show, "Run Silent, Run Deep" (Burt Lancaster, Clark Gable), "Tank Force," "Pork Chop Hill," "Battle of the Coral Sea" and "The Desert Rats." There's a Monday 3/8/65 ad for three movies, "Stars and Stripes Forever," "The Naked Maja" and "Tank Force" (Victor Mature) and a Wednesday, 3/10/65 ad for "Battle of the Coral Sea." There's a Friday, 2/26/65 ad for "Drum Beat" (Alan Ladd), a Wednesday, 3/3/65 ad for "Battle of the Worlds," a Thursday, 3/4/65 ad for "The Lion Hunters" and a Friday, 3/5/65 ad for "Pal Joey" (Frank Sinatra, Kim Novak). There's also a Saturday, 3/6/65 ad for "Strangers When We Meet" (Kim Novak, Kirk Douglas) and a Sunday, 3/7/65 ad for five films on The Morning Movie, "The Sisters" (Bette Davis, Errol Flynn), "Night Unto Night" (Ronald Reagan, Broderick Crawford), "Desire Me" (Robert Mitchum, Greer Garson), "Across the Pacific" (Sydney Greenstreet, Humphrey Bogart) and "The Bribe" (Robert Taylor, Ava Gardner). The last two are a Tuesday, 3/9/65 ad for "Terror from the Year 5,000" and a Wednesday, 3/10/65 ad for "Bomba and the Hidden City" (Johnny Sheffield, Sur England).
