July 2, 2010: Triple Terror

There are another 20 ads today from July and August 1988 plus one addition to the Random Pages gallery, two Sunday 7/31/88 TV Guide pages with close-up descriptions for the 1988 Talladega 500 on CBS and the American Bowl NFL game (San Francisco vs. Miami) in London on NBC. There are eight ads for movies in the Channel 36 gallery. Three are for Unconventional Week: "Desperately Seeking Susan" (Madonna), "Cannonball Run" (Farrah Fawcett, Burt Reynolds) and "National Lampoon's Animal House" (John Belushi) and five are for Clint Eastwood Week: "High Plains Drifter," "Two Mules for Sister Sara," "The Eiger Sanction" (George Kennedy), "Hang' em High" and "Play Misty for Me" (Jessica Walter). There's one in the ABC gallery for Head of the Class (Robin Givens), one full-page ad in the FOX Gallery for the premiere of The Reporters (Mike Tyson) and there are two in the NBC gallery, one for Days of Our Lives and one for the special Michael Jackson Around the World. There's an HBO ad in the Vintage Cable Ads gallery for Vietnam War Story and there are three ads for movies in the TBS gallery, one for "Forced Vengeance" (Chuck Norris), one for "The Sons of Katie Elder" (John Wayne, Dean Martin, Earl Holliman, Michael Anderson, Jr.) and one for three Triple Terror films, "Gargoyles," "Village of the Damned" and "Children of the Damned." There are four more ads in the Ohio & W. Pennsylvania gallery. There are two are WDTN-TV ads, one for 2 News at the Shelby County Fair and Reds Baseball at San Diego and one for the upcoming premiere of Geraldo (Geraldo Rivera). There's a WKEF-TV22 ad for Family Ties and there's a WLIO-TV35 ad for The Ric Bratton Show. I'll upload the links to my Fourth of July ads later tonight.
