May 7, 2010: All Shook Up

There are an 26 additions today from October and November 1986. There are two in the Channel 36 gallery for the the two-part movie "Frankenstein: The True Story" (Leonard Whiting) and two in the ABC gallery, one for ABC daytime shows Ryan's Hope, Loving, All My Children (Peter Bergman, Taylor Miller), One Life to Live and General Hospital and one for the Sledge Hammer episode "All Shook Up" (David Rasche). The CBS gallery has one full-page ad for Capitol (Peter Lochran) and the NBC gallery has four ads, one for the Hill Street Blues episode "Bald Ambition" (Megan Gallagher, Daniel J. Travanti), one for The Jay Leno Show (David Letterman, Vanna White, Doug Llewelyn, Lu Leonard) and two for the two- part "Rage of Angels: The Story Continues," a two-page ad for part one (Jaclyn Smith, Ken Howard) and a full-page ad for part two. The Vintage Cable Ads gallery has a full-page CNN schedule and two Disney Channel ads, one for The Making of Captain EO (wikipedia page here) and one for "Mary Poppins" (Dick Van Dyke, Julie Andrews). All three of these are from the November 1986 CableSystem edition of Cable Choice Magazine. The TBS gallery has six ads, one for a Chicago Bulls-Detroit Pistons game and five for the movies "A Thunder of Drums" (Charles Bronson), "The Dirty Dozen" on Award Theatre, "Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo" (Spencer Tracy), "Boom Town" (Spencer Tracy, Clark Gable) and "King Kong" (Fay Wray). I've also added a new gallery under the Vintage Cable Ads galleries for Buckeye CableSystem ads and I've moved ToledoVison 5 ads there too. There are four in the BCS gallery (also from Cable Choice Magazine), one is a 1986 Buckeye CableSystem channel guide, which only had 24 channels plus four premium channels, one is an FM guide, one is a CableSystem logo and one is an ad for Rocket Football (Toledo at Central Michigan) on channel 10-B. There's also a 1980 channel guide there too which had only twelve channels. There are also two ads in the Ohio-W. Pennsylvania gallery. One is a WDTN-TV2 ad for The New Newlywed Game and one is a WHIO-TV7 ad for a Newscenter 7 series of reports by Sher Patrick (Crackdown on Drugs).
