There are 18 new ads today from December 1986 and January 1987 plus two additions to the Random Pages gallery featuring details on 1987 bowl games. One of them is a two-page New Year's Day close-up for the five bowl games played that day and the other is a full-page close-up for the 1987 Fiesta Bowl where Penn State beat Miami 14-10 for the national champ- ionship. The Channel 36 gallery has three movie ads for "Yentl" (Barbra Streisand), "The Other Side of the Mountain" and "Jesus Christ Superstar" (Ted Neely). The ABC gallery has one ad for "The Christmas Star" on The Disney Sunday Movie (Ed Asner) and the CBS gallery has two ads, one for As the World Turns (Jon Hensley) and one for CBS New Year's Day coverage of The Cotton Bowl Parade, The Tournament of Roses Parade and The Cotton Bowl where Ohio State beat Texas A&M 28-12. The NBC gallery has five ads, one for the holiday special Christmas Snow (Sid Caesar, Katherine Heldmond, Melissa Hart), one for another special, Amy Grant: Headin' Home for the Holidays (Ed Begley, Jr., Dennis Weaver, Art Garfunkel, Gary Chapman), one for the World Premiere Movie "Christmas Eve" (Loretta Young), one for NBC's New Year's programs, a two-page ad for their coverage of the Tournament of Roses Parade and three bowl games (including The Rose Bowl where Arizona State beat Michigan 22-15 and The Fiesta Bowl where Penn State beat Miami 14-10) and one for the premiere of the daytime game show Blockbusters (Bill Rafferty).
