December 20, 2010: Ginger or Mary Ann?

 

I added 21 more ads today from April and May 1995 including several for series finales. The ABC gallery has two ads, one for the Matlock two-hour series finale episode "The Scam" (Andy Griffith) and one for The Laverne and Shirley Reunion (Penny Marshall, Cindy Williams, Michael McKean, David L. Lander). There are five more in the CBS gallery, one for Tuesday Mystery Movie "Deadline for Murder: From the Files of Edna Buchanan" (Elizabeth Montgomery), a full-page ad and TV Guide close-up description for "The Rockford Files: A Blessing in Disguise" (James Garner, Stuart Margolin), an ad (on two pages) and TV Guide close-up description for The Late Show with David Letterman (In London), an ad for the In the Heat of the Night series finale episode "Grow Old Along with Me" (Carroll O'Connor, Carl Weathers) and one for TV's All-Time Favorites (Davy Jones, Dawn Wells, Jerry Mathers). There are three more in the FOX gallery, a full-page ad for the VR5 episode "The Many Faces of Alex" (Lori Singer, Markie Post), one (on two pages) for two Friday night shows, the VR5 final episode "Reunion" (Lori Singer, Tracey Needham) and The X-Files episode "Our Town" and one for The Critic episode "Duckerella." The NBC gallery has six more, an ad and TV Guide close-up description for the Empty Nest one-hour series finale episode "Life Goes On" (Richard Mulligan, Dinah Manoff, Kristy McNichol), one for the Sisters episode "Matters of the Heart," a full-page ad for Days of Our Lives, one for the ER episode "Everything Old is New Again" (Noah Wylie, Sherry Stringfield, George Clooney, Julianna Margulies, Anthony Edwards, Eriq LaSalle) and two ads for "Liz: The Elizabeth Taylor Story" (Sherilyn Fenn), a 1-1/2 page ad for part one and another ad for part two. The UPN gallery has a 3/4 page ad for the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Learning Curve" (Tim Russ) and the WB gallery has one for The Wayans Bros. episode "Pulp Marlon" (Shawn and Marlon Wayans). There are three more in the Vintage Cable Ads gallery, an AMC full-page ad for "How to Steal a Million" on Saturday Classics (Audrey Hepburn), another ad for Nickelodeon's 8th Annual Kids' Choice Awards (Whitney Houston) and a Lifetime full-page ad for Intimate Portrait (Carly Simon) More ads from May, June and July 1995 are on the way...

There's also bonus ad in the Holiday Season Ads gallery. It's a WTOL-TV 11 ad in the 1/1/1963 Toledo Blade for the Tournament of Roses Parade on NBC.
