Jan. 29, 2010: The First Channel for Kids

There are 17 additions today, two from January 24, 1982 and the rest from May-August 1982. There's one in the channel 50 gallery for M*A*S*H: Change Day (David Ogden Stiers) and in the channel 50 movie gallery there are five 8 O'Clock Movie ads for "The Bliss of Mrs. Blossom" (Shirley MacLaine), "The Wilby Conspiracy" (Sidney Poitier), "Skyjacked" (Charlton Heston & James Brolin), "Paint Your Wagon" (Clint Eastwood & Lee Marvin) and "Executive Action" (Burt Lancaster). The ABC gallery has one two, one for ABC News Closeup: The Oil Game (which has an Al Gore quote) and one for the premiere of ABC News This Morning (Steve Bell). The CBS gallery has one for afternoon soap operas The Young and the Restless, As the World Turns, Capitol and The Guiding Light and the NBC gallery has one for daytime soaps Texas: The New Generation and Days of Our Lives. The Vintage Cable ads gallery has three, one for HBO's Wimbledon Tennis coverage (John McEnroe), one for The Movie Channel and one for Nickelodeon (The First Channel for Kids).
