Dec. 8, 2009: Festival '78

I added 18 more ads today from February and March 1978. There are several ads in the PBS gallery for Public TV's Festival '78. One is a full-page ad, one is a channel 56 ad for Harold Lloyd's World of Comedy, one is channel 57 ad for a Johnny Mathis Concert and one is a channel 57 ad for Big Band Bash. There's also one for The Cousteau Odyssey: Diving for Roman Plunder. The channel 2 gallery has a full-page ad for "Impasse" (Anne Francis &Burt Reynolds) and also one for The Newlywed Game (Bob Eubanks). The channel 11 gallery has two more for The Big Show. One is for "The Glenn Miller Story" (June Allyson & James Stewart) and the other is for "Fantastic Voyage." The channel 24 gallery has one for $25,000 Pyramid and the channel 50 gallery has two, one for a Pistons-Paces game and one for a Bing Crosby St. Patrick's Day special, A Little Bit of Irish. The channel 50 movie gallery has one for "Anchors Aweigh" (Frank Sinatra & Gene Kelly) and one for "A Woman Rebels" (one of five films on Katharine Hepburn Week at 11:30PM). There's also a TV Guide close-up for all five Hepburn films. There's also one for "What Price Glory" (James Cagney) and one for the Bill Kennedy at the Movies presentation of "State of the Union" (Katharine Hepburn & Spencer Tracy). The CBS gallery has one for The Bugs Bunny Easter Special and the NBC gallery has one for The Dean Martin Celebrity Roast of Jack Klugman. More from March, April and May 1978 are coming...
