Nov. 11, 2009: Funshine Saturday

I posted 18 more ads today, all from September and October 1974. You'll find two in the PBS gallery, one for The Way it Was (a sports show to remember) which was hosted by Curt Gowdy and the other for the season premiere of Masterpiece Theatre. The NBC gallery has two more 'The Network of the New' ads, one for Movin' On (series premiere) and the other for Friday shows Sanford and Son (season premiere) and Chico and the Man (series premiere). The CBS gallery has two ads for the Saturday night season premieres of Mary Tyler Moore and The Bob Newhart Show. The ABC gallery has two ads, one for their 1974 'Funshine Saturday' shows and one for The Night Stalker. The channel 50 gallery has one for The Lawrence Welk Show (20th season) and the channel 20 gallery has two ads, one for It Takes a Thief and Land of the Giants and the other for all of its 7:30PM shows that left out any mention of channel 20 in it. The other 7:30 shows were The Persuaders, The Champions and The Prisoner. There's one in the channel 9 gallery for Circus and there's one in the channel 4 gallery for Jeopardy with Art Fleming. The rest are in the channel 7 gallery. There are two more for their 7:30 shows, Let's Make a Deal and Treasure Hunt and three ads for films on The 4:30 Movie, "Maybe I'll Come Home in the Spring" (Sally Field), "A Taste of Evil" and "Crowhaven Farm." Coming up: more from October 1974...
